We did some testing: we compared layouts with a photo, with a 3D mascot, and with an anime design with each other. The latter became the leaders in Asia, Brazil and Peru.
Now we use the characters in online advertising. They work great both individually and together. For example, in an ad for ride booking, a considerate motorcyclist hands a helmet to a girl.
